Life Conhabit is looking for the collaboration of local councils in Huelva in which it carries out conservation initiatives

Those in charge of Life Conhabit in Huelva have explained to representatives from 5 local councils in this province (Huelva, Moguer, Cartaya, Lepe and Punta Umbría), the enormous relevance of the actions carried out by the project in the Natura 2000 Network spaces in their respective municipalities for the protection of their priority habitats.

This has been done during a meeting -held in the offices of the Wetlands of Odiel Nature Reserve-, with the aim of establishing a framework of collaboration for the development of joint initiatives that promote the conservation of those habitats and everything achieved by this European initiative to preserve them, as well as to try to raise awareness among the population around them and of their meaning for the rich biodiversity of the area.

Life Conhabit Andalucía carries out very different actions in 7 spaces of the Natura 2000 Network located in the province of Huelva like Dehesa del Estero y Montes de Moguer, Marismas del Río Piedras y Flecha del Rompido, Marismas del Odiel, Laguna del Portil and Laguna de Palos y Las Madres, as well as Doñana and Doñana Norte y Oeste, with the main objective of protecting up to 10 priority habitats that they have between them.
