The Cadiz city councils of Conil, Barbate and Tarifa, benefitted by Life Conhabit Andalusia, know the advantages of the project

This morning Life Conhabit Andalusia held its first sectorial meeting with the local Administration. Specifically, it was at the Multipurpose Centre of El Colorado, in Conil (Cadiz), where the first meeting of this type took place, which is key for the project, between technicians of the European initiative and representatives of the 3 Cadiz city councils benefitted by Life Conhabit, such as Conil, Barbate and Tarifa.

The objective of the meeting was to explain to these city councils the actions proposed by Life Conhabit Andalusia for the protection and conservation of the priority habitats of their respective municipalities, as well as seeking the involvement of these local administrations to achieve it while getting to know the particular characteristics of each area first hand. The involvement that is sought includes firstly informing these municipal representatives of the priority habitats and the most unique areas to protect so that they collaborate to achieve it with the development of their own mechanisms.
